Platform

Platform tackles the extractive energy, food and financial systems that are driving climate breakdown by exposing who owns and controls these systems, mobilizing impacted communities and envisioning sustainable and socially just alternatives. Drawing on Platform’s unique 40-year history, their team of campaigners, researchers and artists work across the UK to transform the political, cultural and social conditions in which polluting industries operate.

Focusing on the key areas of community, energy, finance, culture, and liberation, Platform aims to build support for public ownership and democratic control, embolden impacted communities and works to lead a just transition, interrupt the flow of money and power to fossil fuels companies, harness the power of arts and sports to build solidarity, imagine alternatives to injustice, inspire social transformation, and center compassion and liberation in their work.
