Fusión Fundación Inclusión Social

The name “Fusión” and the foundation’s creation stem from the idea of forming an organization to educate through art and culture, where the fusion of artists and anyone who wished to join would result in a blend of styles and cultural “mestizaje” (people of all races and backgrounds), leading to heightened mutual creativity. This collaboration enriches people spiritually and artistically in various forms of expression.

The organization’s purpose is to transform their cities by fostering emotional connections through educational, artistic, awareness-raising, and training activities, where they can research, observe, and listen in order to create designs that incorporate emotional engagement. They carry out educational projects and programs for awareness and training, focusing on areas such as educational scholarships, urban projects, artistic projects, and discussion forums.

Featured Project

A 2 Metros
To raise awareness about the challenges of being a pedestrian in Santo Domingo, the foundation, in collaboration with ARTIVISMO RD, participated in the artistic action “A 2 Metros,” documenting the performance in the Piantini neighborhood to highlight the difficulties of navigating poorly designed sidewalks and the need for change to improve mobility. We develop activities and artistic interventions to raise visibility, denounce issues, and create awareness about the importance of changing our attitudes and environments to ensure full access for people with disabilities in our cities.
