Arctic Culture Lab

Arctic Culture Lab is a multidisciplinary platform dedicated to artistic research that engages with the dynamic and evolving cultural landscape of the Arctic. Drawing on a diverse network of artists, curators, educators, researchers, producers, and geopolitical experts, the lab fosters collaboration across disciplines to explore the unique challenges and opportunities faced by the North today. Its work is rooted in the belief that art can be a powerful tool for dialogue, reflection, and action, particularly in addressing the urgent global concerns of climate change and industrialization.

The Lab’s projects focus on documenting and preserving Arctic history while confronting the environmental and political issues that impact local communities. By intertwining traditional knowledge systems with contemporary creative practices, the Arctic Culture Lab creates a space where the past and present can intersect meaningfully. Through exhibitions, research initiatives, and community-based programs, the Lab not only amplifies Arctic voices on a world stage but also redefines how cultural heritage and innovation can create a more sustainable and inclusive future.
